Jimmy Buccelli's, Columbus, Ohio

Jimmy Buccelli's
830 Bethel Rd
Columbus OH United States

Jimmy Buccelli's "Solid Two Fisted Eating" specializes in South Philly Subs. This location is the first in what is likely to be a large chain of fast food Philly Sub shops, owners Ken Smith and Mark Turner already have two chains (Steak Escape & Hoggy's) in the Columbus area that have gone national. A second location is on Hamilton Rd and a third on Sawmill Rd opening in 2007. This location opened in the Olentany Center the week of December 6, 2006. The Philly Subs follow the pattern set by South Philly restaurants placing thinly-sliced grilled beef into an open-faced bun and then load it with lots of topping including cheese, roasted peppers, fried onions, other veggies and dressing. The menu also offers many other choices including chicken, baked potatoes, paninis, burgers, soup, pizza and frozen custard. Drinks besides the usual fountain sodas include shakes, freshly squeezed lemonade, bottled water, milk, tea, coffee, Hank's Premium and bottled beer (domestic or imported). Also mistakenly referred to as Bucelli's or Bucceli's.
