The Char Bar is just that, an old time bar with many dartboards along one wall. Food is limited to pretzels and chips, so look elsewhere if you are interested in a meal. The bar located across the street from the convention center is somewhat between the action in the Arena District and the Short North. Noted for cheap beer and is popular for what it offers in billiards, darts and music from the jukebox.
