This “low carb” and “high protein” restaurant offers a combination in today’s specialty diet-laden society. This concept is a heaven for meat and salad lovers alike. The “Churrascaria Rodizio” type of dining is for those counting carbs, for those who love a meaty dinner, for those who enjoy salads and fruits, for those who cater to the “all you can eat” establishments, and for those who simply enjoy a meal in a cozy atmosphere. As native Brazilian owner Maria Schultz explains this concept allows guests to sample ample amounts of meat in one dining experience. Even have a salad buffet for the vegan/vegetarians. What sets these meats apart from the others is the marinating process. White meats are marinated overnight in a mixture of garlic, salt and lime juice. The red meats are seasoned with sea salt only. Then, they are slowly grilled over an open mesquite charcoal grill to enhance the flavors. They range from chicken drumsticks, baby beef, top sirloin, pork loin, ribs and filet mignon. Rodeo features a fixed-price dinner (introductory rate of $29.95), which includes unlimited servings from a well-stocked gourmet salad bar, meats and traditional Brazilian side dishes. The restaurant opens Monday through Friday from 5PM to 10PM and Saturdays and Sundays from 12PM to 10PM. They also do catering, parties, corporate and special events.
