Eleni's, located on the main highway in town, is a little bit of Greece in Hotchkiss - and handmade pizza too. The menu features a variety of traditional Greek and Meditteranean foods, including souvlaki, tadziki, hummus, spanokopita, Greek salad, tabouli, gyros, pastizio and baklava. Dinner specials include grilled salmon, lamb, mahi mahi, lasagna (not Greek, but an Eleni special) and a wide variety of other choices. A local favorite is the large basket of sweet potato fries. Or order a pizza to eat in or take home. The bakery counter has an assortment of pastries like lemon bars, chocolate Ganache tort, baklava, brownies and cheesecake.
