This is a REAL bakery! Hard Red Spring Wheat is brought in from farms in Montana and milled into flour fresh daily right in the store. Everything is made entirely from scratch with no preservatives, hydrogenated oils (trans-fats, or HFCS. This results in the freshest, best tasting, longest lasting and most nutritious bread you will find anywhere. Breakfast fare includes fruit scones, muffins, cinnamon rolls, and coffee cakes. The premium coffee they serve is locally roasted, and still only $1 a cup. Bread varieties change daily, but feature honey wheat, seeded breads, fruit breads, sweet breads, grainy breads, savory breads, and fun breads. The lunch menu builds on the fantastic fresh breads and feature sandwiches and paninis made with fresh sliced premium meats and cheeses. Many sandwiches feature homemade spreads designed to complement the particular sandwich. There is no indoor seating, and only two small table out front, so most of the food is taken out. Ask the staff about custom gift baskets or catering orders. Great Harvest is part of a 30 year old national chain and this is their only location in Southern California. Bread is shipped from this bakery to raving fans all over the state.
