Sahib, the latest Indian Restaurant in the heart of Montreal’s West-Island boasts authentic north Indian food and efficient service. Conveniently located at 225 Hymus in Pointe-Claire just on the west corner of St-John’s boulevard, it can be easily accessed from both the highways 20 and 40. Ample parking is available on the premises. The menu is well composed and one can choose either a fixed meal or a la carte. Prices are very reasonable with most main courses under $12.00. The Lunch Buffet is very popular amongst the business clientele and at $9.95 it is definitely a great bargain. The Lamb Curry, Butter Chicken, Salmon Tikka are some of the many dishes available. Balti Cuisine new to Montreal is also served . The service under the watchful eye of owner Rajiv Chopra is efficient yet unpretentious. The wine list is simple and adequate. The bar is appropriately stocked and several cocktail choices are available. A choice of imported (including British) and domestic Beer, which goes very well with Indian food, is available both on tap and also in a large bottled choice. The ambience is very soothing. There is a bar section as well as an inside dining room which can be also be reserved for private parties for up to 60 guests. There is a catering service available for small home parties and big wedding banquets. The free-delivery service is available to most of the West-Island . A 10% discount is available for take-out orders.
