What was formerly Nick Tahou's II is now Steve T. Hots and Potatoes (reported as of March 9, 2007). This branch of the famous Rochester fast food dynasty, located on Lyell Avenue in Gates, is owned and operated by Steve Tahou and sister Joanne Tahou-Demkou. Although the trademark name "garbage plate" officially applies only to the downtown location owned by cousin Alex, patrons are assured they can still get all their favorite menu items. At Steve T.'s, you can order "hots and potatoes" (sometimes referred to as "hots and potats") or any type of plate you desire. In addition, this landmank Gates location will now feature Zweigle's hots dogs and Italian sausage, as well as Steve T.'s signature hot sauce.
