Tate Street Coffee House was established on December 16, 1993, the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party. Located on the edge of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) campus. While in the heart of a university setting, regular visitors to the coffee house include not just students, but a great mix of professionals, neighborhood families, professors and just plain regular folk. Voted "Best Coffee in Greensboro".
