Pearl Street Station Restaurant Housed in a renovated Boston & Maine railroad station built in 1891, Pearl Street Station features a selection of barbecued entrees (steak, turkey and lamb tips, ribs and chicken) as well as the usual sirloins, hamburgers, seafood and Italian favorites. Prime rib is featured on Friday and Saturday nights. The old passenger waiting room (with its original fireplace) has been converted into a comfortable lounge, with a wide screen television for sporting events. There is a function room which can handle a group of 100 guests. Karaoke and team trivia contests are scheduled for designated evenings. Although no longer in use as a station, commuter rail and the Orange Line rapid transit trains still rumble on the adjacent tracks, stopping at Malden Center MBTA station, just a 5-minute walk from the restaurant.
